About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Marketing will be instrumental in the success of Vector through running and optimizing a robust marketing machine encompassing all areas of marketing.

What You’ll Do

Demand Generation:

  • Influence and execute demand generation through integrated campaigns primarily via SEO, SEM, social, IMM, content, influencer, email, and viral marketing, events, and digital advertising
  • Identify, develop and communicate targeted messaging to our ICP, enabling our sales team and consistently optimizing our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes
  • Influence and execute company’s offline marketing (direct mail, flyers, print publications)

Product Marketing

  • Understand customer trends, competitive landscape, and demand to better segment, target audiences and use cases through competitive analysis, product positioning and messaging
  • Engage, foster and leverage analyst relationships i.e. Gartner to strengthen our product positioning and marketplace validation
  • Perform digital and offline marketing analysis

Sales Enablement

  • Build a robust, dynamic knowledge base of content that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, white papers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics,  calendar of events, etc)
  • Defining and producing copy for presentations, emails, conferences
  • Create customer case studies and profiles
  • Write and edit blog posts and manage videos and other content to inspire prospects, customers, and partners

Communications,  PR & Brand

  • Create our event and conference strategies to reach our customers
  • Work  with our PR agency, aligning with reporters’ editorial schedules, working with our customers to coordinate  press releases, podcasts, testimonials, and panel speaking opportunities
  • Manage press releases and press inquiries
  • Build our presence at conferences and events,  partner with  industry publications and  trade associations
  • Develop and manage all aspects of the company’s website and landing pages

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience in a B2B marketing leadership role involving account based marketing
  • Proven track record of performance within a rapidly-scaling organization
  • Demonstrated history of success in building and executing ABM programs and digital demand generation
  • Demonstrated experience supporting executive-level management and driving interdepartmental collaboration
  • Exceptional communication ability - speaking, writing, presentation, and influencing skills

Tools & Systems

  • Experience with CRM Marketing platforms (Hubspot CRM (Marketing Hub) preferred, but not required)
  • Familiarity with i.e. ActiveCampaign and SalesLoft, Salesforce
  • Experience with web and marketing  tools i.e. Google AdWords & Analytics, WordPress, CSS

Preferred, Not Required

  • Previous experience with freight, logistics, supply chain industry 
  • Ownership of graphic design: email, presentations, social media posts, print, product UI/UX mockups
  • Experience with graphic design platforms (preferred Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
